The majority of my articles cover sizes 4-16; however, I know there are several tall women who are 16+. I tend to wear size 12 or 14 which is on the high end for “regular” size clothes, but usually it’s not necessary considered “plus size”, again this depends on the brand. With that said I decided to focus this post on tall plus size clothing. Some are stores you’ve seen in my articles, but I’ve also included other stores that haven’t been highlighted before. I must say, the fashion industry still has a long way to go. It was hard finding stylish stores to feature. It was also tricky because most stores have five categories petite, regular, tall, plus size, and maternity. If you teeter between two categories you’re completely left out. As always, if I’m missing stores or brands that fit in this category please let me know so I can add them to the tall clothing store page. Also, all of these are online only.
I’ve added some theme music for this post (video below). I love this song. Please note she does use some profanity (she hasn’t posted a clean version of the video–sorry). Also some people say this song is knocking skinny girls, but I don’t think so. It’s just empowering those with a little extra. I believe it’s meant to be a fun song that encourages all to be who they are and not who society wants them to be. Anyhoo, just wanted to throw out some disclaimers. So if you so choose, please listen to the video as you check out this post.
Amazon has … everything. Doesn’t hurt to do a search on it if you’re looking for something.
