Yes, you read that right. I’m not sure how many of you know about Fashion Trucks, but they are amazing! So amazing I’ve even started a site with a friend, Astral Riles, to help people find them in their state: FindaFashionTruck.com. Some of you may know them as mobile boutiques, but essentially it’s everything you can imagine related to fashion…in a truck! It’s also awesome because women, and men, who might not otherwise be able to afford a storefront can buy an old library truck, FedEx truck, bus, camper or whatever and sell their goods! We have over 150 trucks listed and still need to add in 150+ boutiques! So move over food trucks. Check us out on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram or sign up to be a member to track your favorite trucks.
Ok, I know what you’re thinking, can I fit in one of those trucks? The answer is maybe. Below are pictures from a festival called ArtScape in Baltimore and I was able to fit in all three trucks at 6’1 standing up. Not going lie it was a close shave; however, it really just depends on what type of truck the vender purchases. Elayna (6’3), from the Junoesque, is going to go with me and put some DC trucks to the test. I haven’t found any fashion trucks that specifically cater to talls yet, but there are treasures to be found. If you decide to open up a tall fashion truck be sure to let me know!
Before I feature the mobile boutiques I entered, I want to highlight Long Tall Sally’s Cut Out Detail Jersey Top. I wanted a little glam, but something light enough to wear outside all day. It was perfect and I love the gold detail at the top (very artsy).
Really cute pieces. It was very crowded (and my hubby was waiting) so I didn’t get to try anything on, but I saw a few pieces that might be long enough.
Had lots of fun shopping in this clothing and accessory truck. I got a really cute pouch.
Yes, this is a painted school bus with a dressing room! Lots of cool eclectic pieces.
Hope you enjoyed this post. If you’ve been on any fashion trucks let me know about it.
